By Fellipe Guimarães

Turkey will stop this Sunday. Besiktas and Galatasaray will face each other in the great classic game of the 33rd round, at the Besiktas Inonu Stadium, also known as Dolmabahçe Stadium.

The home side are in 1st place with 65 points and fighting to win their 13th title, after not winning the championship in the last six years, while "Gala" is in 4th place with 58, and fight to qualify for the European competitions next season. In 3rd is Trabzonspor with 62.

Besides the big game this weekend, another confrontation that is also has caught the attention of the whole country is the next round, when Galatasaray and Sivasspor (placed 2nd with 63 points) will face each other in the Ali Sam Yeni. So next two opponents for the Lions of Istanbul are in the fight for the title and the team's Brazilian ace can "decide" who will win the Turkish League in 2008/09.

"We go out in order to win. Besiktas has had a good campaign, has good players and we must respect them. But there is no favourite in these classics. Our team wants to finish the championship with wins and, therefore, we have to beat them. We are not concerned about being the balance in deciding the title, because we have to concern only with our own goals in the championship. The only thing sure is that both the Besiktas, as well as Sivasspor, will have trouble in winning. We are very focused on that and we want to finish well. Our fans deserve these successes and we will do everything to make the fans happy. "

Stadium
Besides the great confrontation, the stage of the match also has its attraction. The Dolmabahçe Stadium is so named because it is pretty close to the Dolmabahçe palace. The greatest player of all time, Pelé, said this is a football arena that has the best view of the world. The reason: The Besiktas Inonu is near the Strait of Bosporus, which divides Europe from Asia, and so the fans have a privileged view and can enjoy the beauty of looking at both continents. Furthermore, the architect of the stadium which was inaugurated on 19/05/1947 was Italian Paolo Vietti Violi.
