
Four former Moroccan football stars will play in Ronaldo and Zidanes Match Against Poverty.
The local spectators at monday nights Match Against Poverty in the Moroccan city of Fez will get the chance to experience some of their former football heroes on the pitch.
Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced that former Deportivo and Tottenham star Noureddine Naybet will participate in the match along with Aziz Bouderbala. In 1986 Bouderbala was second in the vote for African Footballer of the Year award, but lost out to his fellow countryman, goalkeeper Badou Zaki.
Zaki, who as coach led Morocco to the African Nations Cup final in 2004, will also attend the match at the Stade Complexe Sportif in Fez and be heading a training session for the two teams in the afternoon.
Two other former Moroccan national team players, Salaheddine Bassir and Youssef Chippo, will play with Zidane. Naybet, Bassir and Chippo all played for Morocco at the World Cup 1998 in France, where the hosts won the title with Zinedine Zidane as the key player.
